Abstract
Waste disposal involves complicated multiple processes of solid deformation,
fluid flow, thermal transfer, and particle transport. This paper presents
a unified formulation of a comprehensive coupling among the mechanical,
transport, thermal, and flow processes. The application of the general
formulation focuses on the transport process where the critical parameter
that affects the injection rate decline has been identified.
